Aerial Yoga

Slow Flow

Take your yoga practice into the air in a uniquely nurturing and restorative class that will guide your body into a beautiful place of wellbeing.

 

This gentle class will help you find greater flexibility and improved alignment & balance. You will find relief from chronic pain and discover greater health with the incorporation of decompressions and lymphatic drainage, and you will love the nurturing experience of Savasana in cocoon.

Dance Hammock

for U13's

This class teaches the foundational skills required to progress into:

​

  • Dance Hammock - Intermediate U13's.

  • Dance Hammock for Teens & Pre-Teens.

  • Lyra for Teens & Pre-Teens.

 

Each term students will learn a choreographed aerial routine which will be showcased to friends and family in week 10.

Dance Hammock

Intermediate & Advanced Teens

This audition only class explores the intricate artistry of Aerial Hammock tricks, transitions and movement vocabulary.

 

In this class, students will delve into the realm of refined tricks, seamless transitions and captivating movement vocabulary. Through rigorous training, students will cultivate strength, enhance flexibility and perfect their alignment all whilst honing impeccable aerial technique.

To get the most out of this class, students should have a commitment towards personal progression and a passion for the art of creative expression.

 

Each term students will learn a choreographed aerial routine which will be showcased to friends and family in week 10.

Dance Hammock

for Grown-up's

Art and self expression are one of the greatest joys of this human experience. Whether you consider yourself a dancer or simply love to express yourself through movement, you will love Dance Hammock! 

 

In this class you will learn Aerial Hammock tricks and transitions and put it all together into a choreographed routine. 

Celebrate your body and give voice to your individual creativity as you flow through interesting sequences. Develop your strength and flexibility and explore the art of dance in a way which nourishes body, mind and soul.

In this sanctuary of self discovery, art intertwines with the essence of being human, unfurling boundless joy and limitless possibilities.

​

*Complete Beginners are encouraged to do Aerial Dance Foundations prior to considering this class.

Lyra

Intermediate

This intermediate level Lyra class taught by industry leader, Nicole Budden, will elevate your skill and artistry.

 

Ignite your creativity and discover your personal flair as you build on established skills and expand your movement repertoire whilst also building strength, flexibility, and stamina.

 

* As an Intermediate-level class, confident Lyra skills and technique are necessary

Dance Hammock

Intermediate U13's

This intermediate level class explores tricks, transitions and movement vocabulary of one of the most beautiful aerial disciplines - Dance Hammock. 

In this class, students will build and develop strength, improve their flexibility and alignment and be trained in strong, safe aerial technique. 

To get the most out of this class, students should have a desire towards personal progression and an interest in the art of creative expression.

 

Each term students will learn a choreographed aerial routine which will be showcased to friends and family in week 10.

Lyra

for Teens & Pre-Teens

Embark on a captivating journey into the world of Aerial Dance, where the Lyra (Aerial Hoop) becomes your partner in artistic expression. Fall head over heels for the joy of moving through the air as you simultaneously develop your strength, endurance, and flexibility.

 

Each term you will have the opportunity to bring your newly acquired skills together and create a beautiful choreographed routine that incorporates both solo and duo skills.

*The ability to lift your bodyweight is essential for this class.

for Grown-up's

This mixed levels Aerial Dance class focuses on using the Lyra (Aerial Hoop) to explore the art of movement.

 

Ignite your creativity and discover your personal flair as you learn a range of skills and sequences on the lyra. This class will help you put together the new skills you learn into a choreographed routine.

 

Fall in love with moving in the air as you develop your strength, endurance and flexibility. All while being taught safe aerial techniques that cater specifically to your body and ability.

This class is exclusively designed for those seeking to push the boundaries of their aerial skills and dive into the realm of advanced and elite-level Lyra techniques. With Nicole's exceptional expertise as an industry leader, you will explore intricate sequences, whilst you extend your strength, flexibility, and artistry.

 

*As an Intermediate -Advanced level class, a strong Lyra skills and technique are essential.

Aerial Fit

Mobility & Stability

This Aerial class is fast paced and fun.  It takes the traditional components of Calisthenics, Pilates and Yoga into the air to build strength, endurance and flexibility. It is designed to strengthen and redefine your muscles, helping you to achieve all body definition and tone. 

​

The use of the aerial hammock as a prop allows you an impact free workout that improves circulation and decreases back pain. 

​

Please note: this is not an aerial yoga class.

Foundations for Grown-up's

This class utilises both the Lyra and the Aerial Hammock.

​

This class is perfect for:

  • Complete Beginners interested in Aerial Arts.

  • Aerialist's returning after an extended break.

  • Students who prefer stress free content.

  • Students who want to work on technique, strength & conditioning.

​

If you are a complete beginner, we recommend this class prior to attending the Lyra/Dance Hammock for grown-up's classes.

Dance Hammock

Intermediate & Advanced

Led by industry expert and founder of Elevate Aerial Academy, Chantelle Rawlings, this class is designed to refine and elevate your artistry.  

​

In this class you will your have the opportunity to expand your movement vocabulary, through sequence creation and choreographed routines whilst focusing on musicality, and performance technique. 

 

This class offers a supportive and engaging environment to refine your technique and expand your creativity.

 

*If you are unsure of your level it is recommended that you attend the Dance Hammock for Grown-up's class.

Aerial Dance

Open Training

This offers the opportunity to train/practice on either Lyra or Hammock. BYO apparatus is also permitted.

*Please note, no tuition takes place in these sessions.
